The Samsung Galaxy S3 utilises a quad core 1.4 GHz processor in conjunction with the ice cream sandwich version of the android operating system, which within this handset is version 4.0.4. The handset measures just 136 mm x 70 mm wide and 8 mm thick as well as weighing 133 g.
The unit comes with an impressive display screen which is 4.8 inches in size and which is a super AMOLED capacitive display screen which offers touch screen functionality. The handset comes with an 8.0 megapixel camera that offers autofocus, face and smile detection as well as simultaneous HD video and image recording capability. In addition the same camera can also record high-quality video whilst a secondary 1.9 megapixel camera is also provided which is front facing. The unit comes with a stereo FM radio with RDS, satellite navigation as well as a multimedia player, in addition to the S-voice Natural Language Commands and dictation feature, amongst many others.
