Our client is an awarding organisation with a passion for Information Management. This Microsoft Gold Partner and winner of the Microsoft Global Business Intelligence Partner of the Year award for numerous years delivers leading edge projects to an ever-growing public and private sector account base. Due to continued growth they now have an immediate need for an experienced Business Development Manager to be based at their London office.
As a Business Development Manager you will qualify incoming leads from internal marketing campaigns and from partner organisations. You will follow sales scripts and qualification gateways to convert leads to prospects and prospects to opportunities using professional telesales techniques and supporting resources (including Live Meeting conferencing and 'light' product demonstrations) to close new business. You will also internal sales and contact management systems to diligently record and maintain information on the development of sales opportunities. You will attend regular sales meetings, attend and support business development events, including tradeshows, seminars and webinars, as required and liaise with marketing teams on campaigns and business development activity. Applications are invited from those candidates with 3-4 years sales experience ideally gained selling Microsoft products and with a working knowledge of Microsoft business and software licensing. You will sell at a strategic level; understand buying criteria and possess the communication and presentation skills to liaise at board level. You will also have excellent self management skills as this role requires autonomy, accountability and responsibility.
The successful candidate can expect a base salary circa 30-40k with an uncapped OTE of 60-80k plus an additional and generous benefits package.
