An 8-year-old boy was among three people who were shot in a spray of bullets in Marrero on Friday night. The other two victims were a 57-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, said Col. John Fortunato, a spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.
None of the victims' injuries are expected to be fatal, Fortunato said.
Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies responded to the shooting about 9:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Eiseman Street. All three victims were taken to a hospital.
